I just wanted to say thank you for praying, especially for wisdom and direction for the doctors...Emily's surgery has been cancelled for now! Things are falling into place - Emily's cardiologist is working to find a doctor so we can get a second opinion on how to best treat her knee arteriovenous malformations (avm). We're feeling frustrated as we'd like to get this taken care of, but we're also feeling relieved as well!
Thanks for your love and prayers!

Hello and THANK YOU!
I'm so glad to see a teenager with HLHS!! I have an 18 month old daughter who has HLHS and I always look for encouraging stories of older children, teens and adults with HLHS. Thanks for sharing Emily's story!
Bethany
We will continue to pray for Emily.
We love you guys!
Sorry to hear about about the delay.. I know it is frustrating and you want it to get done..but it sounds like the Lord has his hand in finding another opinion.. Stay srong in the Lord and knowing so many are praying for strenght and wisdom..

THE GUCWAS
I, too, wanted to say thank you for sharing Emily's story. We have an eleven month old son with a single ventricle, so he is treated as if he has HLHS. It's so nice to read about a teenager with HLHS! Thank you for sharing, and we'll definitely add Emily and the rest of your family to our prayer list.
Big heart hugs and prayers,
Shannon Carter
